On January 9th 2002 while playing golf with Rich Wilson and Ray Beaufait at Palm Valley Golf Course, Bobby Deskin scored his first hole in one. It was the 16th hole Par 3 and the distance to the middle of the green and the cup was 165 yards. Bobby had honors on the tee and after a practice swing hit a high draw towards the pin with his 6 Iron.. The ball cleared the bunker hit the front of the green and rolled directly towards the hole and disappeared into the cup. We hurried to the green and there at the bottom of the cup was Bobby's ball, a Callaway 3. Below is the score card attested by Rich and Ray.
