CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Shot a PGA TOUR record-tying 59 during the final round of the '99 Bob Hope Chrysler Classic. It was the lowest final round ever shot on the PGA TOUR and propelled him to victory.

Has become one of the game's dominant players in a four-year span. Finished 11th and 10th on the money list his first two years, then won his last three starts in 1997 to finish second in official earnings.

1997 finish was one of the most spectacular three weeks in golf during the 1990s . Won Michelob Championship at Kingsmill for his first TOUR title, followed by the Walt Disney World/Oldsmobile Classic and then THE TOUR Championship . Won at Kingsmill and Disney in playoffs, then THE TOUR Championship by one stroke over Jim Furyk .

While at Georgia Tech, joined Gary Hallberg and Phil Michelson as the only four-time Division I first-team All-Americans. Collegiate Player of the Year and winner of Dave Williams Award in 1993.

Already has 11 PGA Tour victories which includes three firsts in the 1999 season. As of April of 1999 has won 11 of last 34 golf tournaments entered.
