Hi Sookehawkeye,

Thanks for joining and welcome to our forum.  There is lots to do and see in the Northwest Valley (Phoenix).  Plenty of great golf courses with very reasonable green fees, I am a member of Coyote Lakes Golf Club and at this tiime of year you can golf for under $35 which also includes a power cart with GPS!!!       The White Tank Mountains Park is a fabulous nature reserve and hiking area with many trails including my favourite the "Waterfall Trail"  at this time of year beaware of rattlers!!!  If you like to see wild aniamals and birds in a very nature area I would suggest the Wildlife Zoo and Aquarium.  There are also many sporting events including baseball (home of two of the spring training leagues) and basketball.  There is also super shopping, including outlet malls, lots of great restaurant and much more.  What do you like to do when you are on vacation?  If I can help you with accommodations or other areas of your trip just let me know!

There are many fabulous B&B's to choose from as well as a lots of vacation home rentals.  You should try Elite Home Vacations, they have a very reputable business and have many wondeful homes to choose from.  You can visit their site at www.www.elitehomevacations.com   I would be happy to provide more information once I know your budget and requirements.
