Started as a Manager Trainee in the collection dept. Became a branch manager in two year and in time managed the largest branch in the Three State (Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana) Louisville region. Promoted to a business development representative and eventually promoted to a district supervisor. Responsibilities were to supervise a string of CIT branch offices in Indiana. Directed all credit activities and supervised twelve branch managers and their staffs. Ranked in the top five of one hundred supervisors nationwide based on growth and profit results.

Started with Citizens as VP in charge of consumer lending. Built a $19 Million consumer loan outstanding to over $400 Million outstanding. Supervised a staff of over 50 employees in lending operations. Eventually promoted to Senior VP, then Executive VP. Responsibilities included supervision of all Branches; all Lending Activities and indoctrination of merged banks. President of State Bank Of Salem and Acting President Of Corydon State Bank. During my banking career participated in six Bank mergers. Retired from BankOne July of 1998.
