Adam Scott's Golf Swing Highlights![]() HT: 6" 0' WT: 170 lbs. Hometown: Hope Island, Australia College: UNLV Turned pro: June 2000 Average drive: 298 yds. Longest measured drive: 358 yds. Clubhead speed: 125 m.p.h. Driver: Titleist 975D, 7.5 degrees Ball: Titleist Pro V1 Adam Scott is a superstar in golf. ![]() Adam Scott's swing basics Adam looks very athletic as he stands over the ball. His back is unusually straight, he's not all hunched over the ball, with his knees nice and flexed. He just lets his arms hang down in a natural way and his weight is evenly distributed. He looks perfectly at peace. His right foot is 90 degrees to the target with his left foot turned out slightly. Adam takes the club back in that nice smooth, wide arc. At the top of his backswing he is set absolutely right. You could be looking at a text book. ![]() Consults the same swing coach (Butch Harmon) as Tiger Woods. His caddie is Phil Williams, whose older brother, Steve, happens to be Tiger's caddy. |
