Angel Cabrera's Golf Swing Highlights

Angel Cabrera started out in golf as a caddie at theCordoba Golf Club. He was ten years old and soon he was hooked on the game of golf.

Angel Cabrera soon emerged as a promising young players in Argentina. At the age of 18 he finished sixth in the prestigious Center Open in Cordoba. He knew he had the ability to play this game of golf and set his goals to become a professional.

After a few years of playing with nearly no resources and with the help of some friends and club members, he played in several tournaments in and out of the Argentina..
In 1996, with the help of Eduardo Romero, a renowned player of the US Champions Tour, Angel Cabrera obtained his European Tour card. In 2001, he won his first title at the Argentine Open.

He he than joined the PGA European Tour in 1996.

Angel is the only player from Argentina in the history of Argentinean golf to be in the Top Ten in the official World Golf Ranking. he is also the only Argentinean member of the International Team that competes against the combined US Team every two years.

In 2005, Angel was invited to play in the President's Cup in U.S.A, Cabrear's performance was outstanding and in the same year he finished 5th in the European Tour Order of Merit. In 2007, he was also a member of the President's Cup played in Canada.

In 2007 Angel Cabrera won the US Open (Oakmont C.C., USA). A major tournament that only the best can win. In 2007 he also won the Grand Slam of Golf (Mid Ocean Club, Bermuda)
