Hi Linda,
I just joined your site and I was wondering when Spring Training games start in the Phoenix area?
Thanks,

Hi Cathy,   th_wavey-2

Welcome & thanks for joining our Live Forum!

In 2010 the Cactus League runs from February 24 to April 1.   Fans from all around the country flock to Arizona every year for the Arizona Cactus League. On any given day, you can pick from up to 9 different Major League games all within driving distance. Below is a guide to help you navigate to the different Arizona spring training stadiums.   I have been to the Surprise Stadium and it's wonderful!!!  Don't forget to bring your sunblock....

1. Surprise Stadium - Rangers & Royals

2. Peoria Sports Complex - Padres & Mariners

3. Maryvale Park - Milwaukee Brewers

4. Scottsdale Stadium - SF Giants

5. Phoenix Municipal Stadium - Oakland A's

6. Tempe Diablo Stadium - LA Angels

7. Hohokam Stadium - Chicago Cubs

8. Camelback Ranch - Dodgers/White Sox

9. Goodyear Ballpark - Indians/Reds

If you need accommodations or other travel assistance while you are visiting please let me know.

Swing easy,

Linda
