By age 25, he accomplished what contemporary David Duval waited until age 29 to do and what Phil Mickelson continues to pursue at age 32 - winning a major championship. The 1997 British Open champion also claims a PLAYERS Championship title, earned the following year in 1998, and considered by many as the "fifth major." As for pressure play, one need only to glance back at the 1999 Ryder Cup and Leonard's historic four-hole comeback against Jose Maria Olazabal to clinch the Ryder Cup for the United States. His 45-foot clinching putt on the 17th hole will be replayed for eternity.
