than Tom Watson. His eight majors include two Masters
, five British Opens and a U.S. Open. Watson, who remains a force on the PGA Tour despite severe putting problems the last few seasons, is in the top ten on the all-time PGA Tour money list with more than $8 million. He is now a major force on the Senior Tour. He was also the captain of the victorious 1993 U.S. Ryder Cup team.He was the dominant player on the PGA Tour in the late 1970s and early 1980s, when he won 29 of his 32 career victories on the tour and was Player of the Year from 1977 through 1984.
