Trevino's Golf Swing Highlights

HEIGHT: 5’ 7"
WEIGHT: 180 lbs
BIRTHDATE: December 1, 1939
RESIDENCE: Jupiter Island, FL

Lee Trevino is one of the legends of the game. Trevino was chosen by his peers as the Senior Tour’s Player of the Year in 1994, the third time he has received this honor. In 1990, Trevino became the first Senior to win over $1 million in a single season.

Trevino’s performance on the PGA Tour was every bit as domineering as his career as a Senior. Trevino was the Tour’s Rookie of the Year in 1967, the leading money winner in 1970, and the PGA Player of the Year in 1971.

Trevino’s first win on Tour took place at the 1968 U.S. Open at Oak Hill, where he was the first player in the history of the event to shoot all 4 rounds below par in the 60’s. Trevino won the U.S. Open once again in 1971. He also has two PGA Championships and two consecutive British Opens to his credit.

Trevino is the first player since Don January to win three consecutive Byron Nelson trophies. He has also won five Vardon trophies, and represented his country on six Ryder Cup teams.
