Despite little money and even less opportunity near his home in Australia, Mark Hensby was determined to make it as a professional golfer on the PGA Tour. After more than 10 years grinding it out on the amateur circuit and various minor tours Mark has paid his dues to the PGA tour with hard work and determination.

Lived in Chicago with friends in early 1990s. For a few weeks at the end of 1994, lived in his car in the parking lot at Cog Hill, home of the TOUR's Cialis Western Open.

Hensby finally has made it. In the midst of a breakout season on the Tour in 2004, Hensby picked up his first PGA win, besting John Morgan on the second playoff hole of the John Deere Classic.
