2015 UNITED STATES SENIOR LONG DRIVE CHAMPIONSHIPS (OPEN) America's second annual United States Senior Long Drive Championships event was held in Decatur, Illinois June 20, 2015 This event drew the worlds best senior long drive competitors from all over the US and Canada. Many of the competitors were world champions sometime in their career. This years event had five senior divisions. The Majestic division 70+ did not have enough participants: Masters age 65 and over, Legends age 60 and over, Grand Champion age 55, Super Senior division age 50 and over, and Seniors 45 and over, Below are the brackets of each division events from beginning to end with numbers, group photos and the Champions of each division. Because of strong head winds, high humidity, rain and solf grounds the distances of this years event were not as long as usual. Don't let the distances fool you. These are the longest hitting seniors in the world. Many of the competitors in this years event have hit drives of 350 yards or more with a few reaching the 400 yard mark in past competitions. Who will be next year's winner of the United States Senior Long Drive championships? All seniors 45 and over who can hit it long should make this an annual event to attend. You could be the next United States Senior Long Drive Champion in any of six hitting divisions. It will all depend on getting the word out to as many senior golfers as possible. Each age division must have a minimum of 8 competitors before a championship event will be scheduled.
